ABOUT ME
I am a professor at the School of Economics of the University of Nottingham. Before joining Nottingham I was an assistant professor at Cambridge University and IMT Lucca, and a Max Weber post-doctoral fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. I am currently a research Fellow at CEPR, CEP London School of Economics, CESifo Munich and Centro D'Agliano Milano. My fields of specialization include International Trade, Macroeconomics and Economic Growth. My research focuses on two major lines: the first studies the effects of globalization on growth and on labor market outcomes, such as unemployment and income inequality. The second line of research zeros in on the role of innovation policy in promoting growth and development.
